It's that time again when we look into the hottest food challenges in the world and those who take them on. Whether it's the hottest peanuts, beef jerky, pizza, or even chocolate, spicy foods have been increasing in popularity over the years.
With this increase in popularity, many videos have been uploaded to YouTube showing challengers taking on all kinds of spicy foods, with loyal subscribers cheering them on.
As I mentioned in the first edition of this article, many of these challenges require a painful afterburn. These afterburn times vary between challenges (some require none). For example, Johnny Scoville's Tube of Terror challenge requires you to suffer and regret your choices for five minutes after you eat the final peanut.
So, without further ado, here are 3 More Competitive Eaters That Have Taken on the World's Hottest Food Challenges.
Leah Shutkever is a competitive eater from the United Kingdom. Leah also holds 26 official Guinness World Records titles.
Leah and her friend, Rogan, decided to climb the spicy ladder to the top for this challenge.
Together, the pair take on the Death Nut Challenge 3.0. Could they complete it? Find out below!
"Steel Rod" Radim Dvořáček is a competitive eater from the Czech Republic. Radim often takes on large volumes of food at restaurants and eating contests. He once even did a hotdog eating contest for charity. This time around, Steel Rod goes all out and tries various food products that are the hottest in the world. Go, Steel Rod, go!
Last but definitely not least, we have Cody Dulaney, hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Cody does things that many others are not willing to try. (For example, he once ate a cactus.)
Cody is also brave when it comes to spicy foods. Like, really brave. This time, he takes on a Carolina Reaper-infused shot of rum.
On the bottle, it even says consume at your own risk.
Check it out below to see if Cody can handle the world's hottest shot!
